The most expensive perfume in the world

Perfume represents itself an art actually originating in antiquity which developed through time. Each person chooses a scent in accordance to their personality, but how much would someone spend for a bottle of perfume? However, the world’s most expensive perfume was released in limited edition: there were made ten bottles, but only five of them for sale. Clive Christian created a product that combines a concentrated scent with a luxurious recipient, Imperial Majesty or No. 1 Perfume being a fragrance presented in a Baccart crystal bottle which bears a 5-carat diamond in a 18-carat gold collar. If you were wondering how much it costs, well, 500 ml of Imperial Majesty are worth $215.000.

There are also Clive Christian No. 1 perfumes in regular editions for $865 or $5500 per bottle (50 ml), the latter being released in only 1000 samples each year. These are available for both men and women in the following fragrances: top notes (Pineapple, Plum, Mirabelle, Bergamot, Lemon and Cardamom), heart notes (Rose, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Orris and Orchid) and base notes (Tahitian Vanilla, Tonka Seeds, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Musk Amber).
