The most expensive cigar in the world

Whether you are a chronic smoker or a social one, you sure appreciate a good cigar at its right value. A regular smoker could certify that this habit is quite expensive, but how much is someone willing to pay for a cigar? The most expensive one in the world, Gurkha Black Dragon, is 8.5 inches long and has a 52 inches diameter. Only five of one hundred cigars are hand carved, and each one costs $1150 which means that a chest can be bought for $115.000. However, for some tobacco enthusiasts there is no such thing as a price too spicy for their pockets. Cigars have a prestige that consolidated through history and they have always had pleaders who appreciated and defended them no matter what.

“A fine cigar is the essence of life. The tobacco plant comes from the earth, from which we ourselves were created. Like ourselves, each leaf grows and is nurtured individually, acquiring its own characteristics, and is then graded, sorted, and matured according to their special abilities. As tobacco comes to its graduation in the making of cigars, as with the making of adults, some is left on the cutting room table and become ordinary, run-of-the-mill products. Some graduate into leadership and areas of responsibility, but a few achieve greatness, and even a touch of immortality.” -Prince Sined Yar Maharg
