De temps en temps

Fiecare casă este centrul universului pentru locuitorii ei, sanctuarul  în care învăţăm pentru prima dată să fim noi înşine, să iubim şi să respectăm. În luna mai, Franţa devine un axus mundi pentru Elegantine, casa în care istoria şi rafinamentul se contopesc într-o notă inefabilă ce trimite la Regele Soare, Boucheron, Ioana d’Arc, Beneteau, Chanel, Moulin Rouge, Sables d’Olonne, Paul Cézanne, Alain Delon, Hotel Costes, Pol Roger, Edith Piaf.

Mai. Mai bine, mai frumos, mai puternic. Pe cât este de simplu şi de scurt, „mai” sugerează continuitate. Şi ce altă lună ar fi fost mai potrivită pentru a vorbi despre eleganţa franceză, când, privită sub microscop, e compusă din epiderme ce nu îmbătrânesc? Să trăieşti à la française, să iubeşti à la française nu sunt imperative, ci idealurile celor care ştiu că eleganţa în toate formele sale: volatile, gastronomice, vestimentare, comportamentale, se trăieşte cu adevărat în Franţa.

În rochie Dior în nuanţe pastelate sau în rochie de seară Chanel, franţuzoaica defineşte luxul şi îl reinventează prin atitudine şi raportare asupra lumii. Macarons sau şampanie, zi sau noapte, La Défense sau la Tour Eiffel, Franţa este o experienţă tăinuită viziunii retiniene fireşti. Dar nu despre firesc vorbeşte Elegantine. Nici ieri, nici azi, nici mâine. Ci despre puterea Franţei de a se folosi de timp în crearea unui ideal anacronic de stil şi rafinament.

To live à la française, to love à la française are not mandatory, but the ideals of those who know that elegance in all its forms: volatile, gourmet, clothing, behavior, it truly lives in France.
The Dior dress in pastel shades or Chanel evening dress, the Frenchwoman defines luxury and reinvents it with attitude and reporting on the world. Macarons or champagne, day or night, La Défense or the Eiffel Tower, France is an experience concealed in normal retinal vision. But Elegantine does not speak about naturalness.
