Art Nouveau in The Grand Avenue Bucharest

For aficionados of good taste, who renew their wardrobe once the season changes, Roberto Cavalli has prepared for the Spring/Summer 2013 season an absolutely stunning collection, inspired by the  Art Nouveau era. As a designer who has juggled for a long time with prints, Cavalli exploited the motifs of Art Nouveau with the mastery of a true artist, and materialized them into silk trousers, jackets with sharp shoulders, but also beautiful dresses with perforations.

When Cavalli doesn’t unleash his passion for prints, the designer creates elaborated pieces made from laser perforated leather, delicate lace inserts and embroidery that ensure a unique design. The key pieces are dresses with cutouts in V and silk tunics with perforated leather applications. For evening elegance, Cavalli applied Art Nouveau motifs on long dresses with beads ornaments and then he cut into the material to expose parts of the body. The result is simply spectacular.
